Biennial Report on Hydrogen Safety (Version 1.0.1) |
|
Dear Visitor, The Biennial Report on Hydrogen Safety is now visible under its first version thanks to the great work of the members of the HySafe consortium either as authors or reviewers. The primary idea behind that work was to assemble into one document the fragmented and various knowledge of every HySafe partner so as to cover the entire Hydrogen safety field. It provides a technical insight into the state of the art knowledge on hydrogen safety ranging from basic physical and chemical knowledge (dispersion, combustion) up to practical information related for instance to state of the art risk control measures or emergency response plan. The various topics dealt with in this document are by order of appearance: Hydrogen fundamentals, Engineering, Hydrogen release and dispersion, Hydrogen ignition, Hydrogen combustion (not available yet), Effect of hydrogen on materials, Accidental consequences, Risk assessment, Prevention measures, Detection measures, Mitigation measures & Regulation and standards. It is a living document that you can now access under its first and surely highly perfectible version. Upgrading of the various chapters will not take place over time based on new technical results and scientific progress. Please share with us your views and why not your writing contribution to this encyclopedic type document. I hope you will find relevant information to make the hydrogen world a safe world. Best regards, The activity leader of the HySafe Biennial Report on Hydrogen Safety
