ABOUT THE ICHSThe EU-funded NoE HySafe, under the auspices of the IPHE, is currently organising the Second International Conference on Hydrogen Safety (ICHS) from 11-13 September 2007 in San Sebastian, Spain. The network is organising this event in collaboration with principal European and international projects on hydrogen safety. Communicating the risks associated with hydrogen is considered to be of central importance in the establishment of a sustainable economy based on hydrogen as an energy carrier. The conference is therefore focused on safety issues relevant to the improvement and coordination of knowledge and understanding of hydrogen safety. The ICHS aims at providing a basis for eliminating safety-related barriers to the implementation of hydrogen as an energy carrier and as such, will also contribute to promoting public awareness and trust in hydrogen technology. More information may be obtained from the ICHS page.File translated by Arief Dahoe from TEX using TTH, version 3.68. On 07 Sep 2007, 15:46.     |
